HonorHealth is accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Teen Volunteer Program, which offers high school students exposure to health care careers through volunteer service at hospital and community sites.

The seven‑week program provides teens with hands‑on experience supporting patients, families and staff across HonorHealth medical centers and Desert Mission programs, according to a press release.

Teen volunteers assist with customer service, hospitality and other nonclinical tasks that support patient and visitor experiences. Volunteers do not provide direct patient care or enter patient rooms while patients are receiving care due to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Participants will also take part in Meet. Explore. Discover. sessions, known as M.E.D. sessions, which include discussions with physicians, researchers and clinical professionals, as well as guided tours of hospital departments. More than 20 M.E.D. sessions will be offered throughout the summer.

The program runs from June 1 to July 17, 2026, and is open to students entering their junior or senior year in fall 2026. Volunteers are scheduled for two four‑hour shifts per week between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Applications and additional program information are available at HonorHealth.com by searching “teen volunteers.” The program is competitive, and not all applicants will be accepted.

The application deadline is noon Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.
