What is a Moai?
Moais are a foundational and core activity at Blue Zones Project – they can be distinguished between walking, potluck, purpose, or another Power 9® Principle (pending Project approval) – the most important aspect being connection.
Moais are supportive, like-minded groups practicing positive, healthy habits that result in social connectivity.
What can a moai look like?

Moai Tenets:
Connectedness: Foster meaningful relationships through shared, healthy experiences that strengthen community bonds
Belonging & Inclusion: Create a welcoming, diverse space where everyone feels valued and connected.
Accountability: Support each other in achieving personal and group well-being goals
Action: Inspire real-life steps toward better well-being in homes, communities, and workplaces.
Rooted in Power 9®: All activities align with at least one of the Blue Zones Power 9® Principles
