Horsense is a dynamic equestrian youth riding camp designed for students aged 9-10 years old, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to interact with horses.

Description:
Horsense is a dynamic equestrian youth riding camp designed for students aged 9-10 years old, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to interact with horses. This outreach program is operated by Health World, a non-profit 501 C3, locally based organization that champions children's safety and health through prevention and sponsored by the Scottsdale Charro's and MacDonald's Ranch. Horsense is more than a horse riding program. It is a program which engages children in learning about respect, responsibility and development of character. The five week long program is held every Saturday from late October to the end of March, at MacDonald's Ranch in Scottsdale
Demands of Role:
Ride Crew assistants are lead by Barb Haines our lead ride instructor. Our Ride Crew (horse) volunteer requirements: • Basic horse related experience. • Age 16+ or by instructor permission • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period. • Ability to walk with the horse and rider. Camp dates: Saturday mornings from late October through March Time: 8:30am - 12 noon Breakfast will be served between 9:15-9:30. Location: MacDonald’s Ranch (Scottsdale Rd. and Jomax
