Description:
Join fellow volunteer gardeners in caring for our beautiful healing grounds. This outdoor service includes tending the gardens, supporting the upkeep of our roses and landscaping, and assisting with small improvements that help maintain a peaceful and welcoming environment. Opportunities are currently available on Tuesday mornings, with some flexibility in timing. New volunteers typically receive their initial training on a mutually scheduled Tuesday from 9–11 am.

Demands of Role:
Moderate outdoor work is involved in this role. Volunteers should wear closed‑toed shoes and a hat for safety and sun protection. Gardening gloves are recommended, and loaner gloves are available if needed. Tasks include the safe use of clippers, rakes, hoes, shovels, and other gardening tools. Volunteers should be able to follow directions, work well as part of a team, and also complete tasks independently when appropriate. Casa volunteer onboarding is required, including Safe Environment Training and a background check.
