We are looking to build a community volunteer base for our community family recreation program that is held twice a month.

Description:
We are looking to build a community volunteer base for our community family recreation program that is held twice a month. We are looking for event day volunteers who are willing to give back to the community by helping City of Scottsdale staff with possible set-up and tear-down and the carrying out of fun group activities. Tasks could entail helping to sign families in, running games or activities, helping with arts and crafts, prepping and handing out snacks and beverages, and some clean-up after the program. Additional opportunities are available to help plan and pre-prep for arts and crafts on the days leading to scheduled events.
Demands of Role:
If working event nights, availability twice per month preferred or once a month at a minimum, on a Friday evening, for 2 to 2.5 hours. Experience working with families and children of all ages is preferred. City of Scottsdale volunteer background screening will be required.
