Grief Group Facilitator

Co-facilitate peer-to-peer grief support groups for children 5-17, young adults 18-25, or adults
Description:
Volunteers co-facilitate grief groups every other week in locations around the Valley from 6:00-9:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, depending on the location. Free training is provided in August and January. Groups run from January-May, and August-December.
Demands of Role:
A facilitator's role is to provide a safe place for adults and children to tell their stories, express their grief, and decide for themselves the best course of action. Working with a co-facilitator, you will decide upon activities for your group from a list of activities provided by New Song Center.
