Demands of Role:
Qualifications:
•Must be at least 19 years of age.
•Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
•Must have valid Social Security Number.
•Must pass Motor Vehicle Report check.
•Demonstrate professional demeanor at all times.
•Be comfortable working with people from diverse communities and backgrounds.
•Lift at least 40 lbs. (assistive devices are available - e.g. carts, dolly’s, etc.).
•Must be able to follow directions (familiar with hands free navigation).
Required Training:
•Vitalant Volunteer Orientation.
•Transport Volunteer role-specific Training.
•Onboarding with Volunteer Services Specialist.
•Ride-along with currently trained volunteer.
•Facility tour.
•Vitalant Company Vehicle Training.
•Ongoing training and refresher courses.
